Privacy Policy

How Iconic Jewellery intends to handle information across enquiries, custom design, wholesale, accounts, orders, and verification.

01

Information we collect

Contact details, account information, order and enquiry activity, delivery information, communication preferences, and identity-verification information where required.

02

How information is used

To respond to enquiries, manage customer accounts, process eligible orders, support delivery or pickup, prevent fraud, and meet applicable verification and record-keeping obligations.

03

Storage and disclosure

Production systems will document approved service providers, access controls, storage locations, disclosure purposes, and retention or deletion rules.

04

Your choices

Customers will be given appropriate ways to manage marketing preferences and request access, correction, or other available privacy rights.

05

06

Identity verification

The final policy must name the approved verification provider, explain whether identity documents or derived verification results are retained, identify who may access them, and state the applicable review, retention, and deletion rules.

07

Service providers and overseas processing

Payment, authentication, hosting, communications, analytics, delivery, fraud-prevention, and identity providers must be listed by category and location once selected. The final policy must explain the purposes and safeguards for any overseas processing.

08

Security and incidents

Production controls will include access restrictions, encryption, monitoring, audit records, backup and recovery, incident response, and notification processes appropriate to the information handled.

09

Design and reference images

Custom-jewellery and engagement-ring enquiries may include inspiration images. The production policy must explain upload security, permitted file types, staff access, retention, deletion, and whether files are shared with craftspeople or other approved providers. This frontend prototype previews images locally and does not transmit or retain them.

10

Wholesale business information

Wholesale enquiries may include a business name, contact person, ABN or ACN, business type, product interests, and expected requirements. Production use, verification, access, retention, and disclosure of this information must be documented before launch.

11

Administrative access

Production administration must use authenticated staff identities, server-enforced roles, least-privilege access, and auditable write actions. The role selector and locally stored changes in this prototype are demonstrations and do not provide security.
